The Last Day of May!

I figured I should write something as this is really my last chance to write anything in the month of May 2013!!
First of all, I have so much respect for all the guys working outside today. I walked outside to let the dog out and check the mail and thought I was going to die! My poor husband is working outside all day today, I cannot imagine that! I would seriously melt! And my brother Todd is working outside too! He is coming over for supper tonight (hope he showers first ;)) Lol, I am really just kidding... I've got the air conditioner on though so that hopefully by the time they get home it will be nice and cool in here.
I had opened all the curtains on the front of the house when I got up this morning but then when I went outside and realized how hot it is I shut them all! I'm sure it is way hotter in other parts of the country but here, it is 91 degrees and according to my accuweather, it feels like 104 in the sun. That is why I am staying right inside!!! :)
My mother-in-law came over for a short visit this morning before she had to go to work. She brought me an organizer she made for the changing table. It is really cute! I have some more pictures to post--Tre's room is completely ready!! And it really does look good in there, if I do say so myself! :)

 I went to a little MaryKay party the other day with a couple friends from work and when one of them said something about my pregnancy, the consultant actually said to me "oh, you are pregnant?!" I think it is just a little obvious by now!!!!! Lol

Well, I guess I can't think of anything else to say for this last, very warm day of May! So excited to change our calendars tomorrow!!! I've been waiting for 8 months for this month!!!! ;) Stay cool, everybody

5-30-13

I am 1cm dilated and 50% thinned out!! My Dr said she wouldn't be surprised if I don't make it to my due date!!!! I would be totally fine with that! Full-term tomorrow!!! :) Tre's heart rate was 140-150, the Dr could feel him move his head when she was checking me :) I can't wait to meet this little guy!!!!!! <3

The bike :)

It is a 2014 Yamaha Bolt. (I'm posting from my phone so I'm not sure how to comment on each picture, but I guess they are pretty self explanatory!!) Doug had been looking at these for a little while, they just came out this year tho so he hadn't been able to actually look at or try one until yesterday! He was right in love with it!! I'm so excited that he was finally able to get one! It is a very nice bike, I can't wait until I get to ride with him!!!!! :)

5-24-13

I had a doctor's appointment yesterday, with a new doctor! She was very nice and the only reason I hadn't met her yet was because she is kinda like a traveling doctor and just fills in when needed. But I really like her. And Doug was able to go with me because he got out of work early and my appointment wasn't until 2pm. So that was cool and he really liked her too. I had quite a few questions for her because of the birth class we went to last weekend. (Thank God I wrote them down because I never would've remembered everything if I hadn't!!) But she was very helpful and very patiently answered all my questions :) And she checked to see if I was dilated at all but no :( which isn't a bad thing, I just wouldn't mind things starting to move along a little.... :P  Tre's heart rate was really good, I did forget to ask what exactly it was at though. And she said his head is very low down, another good thing. Good appointment all around :)
And then we decided to go look at bikes. Doug has been wanting a motorcycle since he got his license last year, but has been waiting to find the right one at the right price. Well, he found it :) We came home with a Yamaha Bolt yesterday! It is a very nice bike, I'm just jealous I can't ride on it yet!! Haha, I will post some pictures of it soon. He insisted on taking a picture of me on it, and I look quite funny, lol, I'll definitely post that one!
Well, we are off on a bunch of errands today since I go back to work tomorrow so I've got to get moving. Enjoy your Saturday!!!

Doug's parents gave us a baby shower on April 20th. It was amazing, we were absolutely spoiled!! I hope you enjoy these pictures :)

Everything was perfect, I definitely feel ready for Tre's arrival! Anytime now is fine ;) My due date is still 4 weeks away, so I guess he should probably stay in there for a little bit longer, but I will be so happy when he is here!!!! :)

I loved having all these exciting events to look forward to, it helped the months go by faster! I had a couple big Dr. appointments that I looked forward to.. they have all happened. I had this baby shower and the second one to look forward to.. they are both over already! I looked forward to my sister coming home.. she is back in Indiana already! Now I have weekly appointments that are helping the weeks go by faster but I guess I'm really just looking forward to a date I don't even know, just that it is the day that we will be holding our baby boy in our arms!!!!! <3
