My due date has arrived!!! And almost passed... And still no baby :( I know it will be soon tho!! I had to go in for a non-stress test today, the first one I've done. It made me kinda nervous listening to his heart beat, sitting in a room by myself and not having a doctor to ask why it was jumping around so much!! It went from 70 to 170 in a matter of a couple seconds!! But when I asked the doctor about it, he said that it was high because he was moving around. And that it was low because he probably shifted the monitor enough that it couldn't get a good reading so it cut his heart rate in half until it picked it up again. Which doesn't make sense to me but at least I know why now!! I have to go to the hospital on Tuesday for an ultrasound, then back to the doctor next Friday for another non-stress test.  Unless I have had him by then!!! I'm thinking it is going to happen either Monday or Tuesday. We will see!!
I went to North Conway with my mom today. That was fun!! Did some shopping. I kinda got worn out fast tho. I told her it was a good thing we hadn't planned a whole day cuz I would've been a party pooper!!! We went out to lunch, a late lunch so I didn't even need supper. And then my brothers came over and visited for awhile. It was good to see them :)

9-19-13

Oops!! I forgot to write about my Dr appointment yesterday! That's probably because it wasn't very exciting. The Dr told me I am a little over 1cm dilated and about 80% effaced. So, not much change from last week. But now that I am 40 weeks (tomorrow) I have to go to Dr twice a week. Starting tomorrow, my due date!! Every Friday and Tuesday for non-stress tests until Tre decides to join us!! So as of right now, I'm planning on working Sunday and Monday this next week and not Tuesday. And hopefully he will be here soon enough after that that I won't have to worry about the week after!!
But Marsha told me Tre is going to make his arrival at 8 tomorrow morning, right on time!! :) I am hoping she is right :)

The Weekend!!

Sunday was our first anniversary. Knowing I had to work (or hoping that we would be in the hospital), Doug decided we should celebrate early so he got lobster for supper that night,  yumm!!!!
Saturday, we went to Auburn. I had bought Doug a watch for his anniversary gift and he needed to get it sized so we went to Kay's. He was excited about it and it does look good on him :) I am quite excited about my gift, I just have to wait to get it!! He is taking me to get my hair done and shopping for new clothes after I'm done being pregnant ;) So hopefully I will get my gift soon!! :)
I did end up having to work Sunday,  my co-worker tried to put me into labor but nothing seemed to work! It will be soon,  I know :)

39 Weeks!!!!

I can't believe I have been pregnant for 39 weeks. It seems like its been forever and like it went by fast at the same time.. Ah!! Either way, ready for it to be over and our baby to be here!! :)

6-12-13

38 weeks 4 days today! I was kinda hoping to hear that things were progressing a little but still pretty much the same as last week :( I am just a week more ready!! Anytime now.. Doug said he wants it to happen on a Wednesday night so he can take thurs and Fri off and then have the whole weekend too so I think tonight would be perfect!! ;) trying not to get my hopes up tho..

Another Week..

I was thinking I had a pretty uneventful weekend, but looking back on it, we actually did quite a bit! Doug got home a little early on Friday so we headed to Auburn. I have a warranty on my ring where I have to have it checked every six months, or we lose the warranty. So we went to Kay's and got that looked at and cleaned, sparkly!!!! :) Then we went to the 99 for supper. Doug's aunt had given us some money to go out to eat sometime so we didn't even have to pay for it all :) Then we went to Home Depot and basically built our house ;) We walked around for over an hour, and still didn't put me into labor.. :( Hah, oh well.
Saturday, Doug told me he wanted to go to Marden's to look at camping stuff. We got there and looked around some, but it was too busy in there and we didn't stay long. We left there and went to Best Buy. Doug has been wanting a Roku. Its a little box you hook up to your tv and you can get a lot of free channels and movies on it. Pretty cool. He said I need it for when I'm home on my maternity leave :) I haven't had a chance yet to play with it much, but I'm sure I will.
I've made it through another week of work (basically), maybe this is my last one! ;) Dr. appointment tomorrow, I'm not sure if I'm excited about it or not, last week was a little disappointing. I'm just so ready to have my baby!!!!! Soon, I know, I need to keep reminding myself....

6-6-13

Everything is still basically the same as last week, just a little more effaced, 70-75%. Tre's heartbeat was about 145. I guess as long as he is healthy I need to be ok with him staying in there a little longer!! :)

Is This Week Over Yet?!?

Wheww!!! I know, its only Monday but this seems like a long week already! But let me tell about my weekend..
Friday night, Doug and Todd got to the house at the same time. Doug had an errand to run so he showed Todd his bike and then took off. Todd and I sat and talked until Doug got back, then I got started on supper. We had steak, potatoes, and summer squash on the grill. It was sooooo yummy!!! :) I had bought 3 huge steaks, thinking that would be way plenty, probably with left overs! I guess I haven't seen my brother eat in awhile... Holy cow!! I would be broke if I fed him on a regular basis!! Lol, he had a huge steak, potatoes and squash, two big pieces of cake, Oreos... I don't remember if there was more or not.. He brought a movie with him, Warrior. I had never seen it before, it was so good!!!
Saturday, Doug did a side job for one of his foremen, so he was gone most of the day. I stayed home, did a little bit of housework, and really just stayed out of the heat!! We went over to his parents house for a cookout that afternoon. It was really warm sitting outside but then it started cooling off a little bit!! :) Doug started mowing their lawn for them and then went and mowed the neighbors lawn. His mower is really just another one of his toys :P  About 6, it looked like it was going to rain and Doug wanted to get home because he had come over on his bike. We got home and he wanted to go downtown for a couple errands so we headed out. He had to get oil for his truck and then a couple groceries. We got home and I was wiped out, too pregnant and too hot!! Haha
Sunday, I was back to work. It was a pretty uneventful day. I was thankful for working inside in the ac though!!!! :) It was another warm day with some thunder showers in the afternoon. And very windy too, I was glad we still had power when I got home last night!!
Today has been pretty quiet, although my co-workers are afraid I am going to go into labor at any time!! Haha :) (I hope so!!!!!!) ;) I am excited about getting out of work tonight, Bachelorette is on!! :)
