Tre's 2 Month Check-up!!

Tre's  appointment went very well!! I was close on my guesses. He is 25 1/4in long and weighs 13lb 15oz :) and his head circumference is over 16in so his Dr said he has a good brain :) sounds funny but she was impressed :)
She asked me lots of questions about his development and was very happy with everything. She was surprised that he is laughing and giggling already, she said babies don't normally laugh out loud until 3 months! And she had him laughing!! I was holding him at first and then when she was ready to look him over I laid him down and he acted like he was going to start crying. She started talking to him and he was giggling at her!!! Had us all laughing at him :)
He had to get a couple shots :'( Oh, didn't he scream!! I'm glad I cried longer then he did, kisses and cuddling seemed to soothe the ouchie! :(
They let me feed him in the room after they were done with his visit. He fell asleep after that and when we got home I moved him to his crib and he is still sleeping!! I guess they wore him right out! :) that's good tho because he didn't get his nap this morning like he normally does!
We went to Norridgewock yesterday to see Doug and stayed the night. So when they were all getting ready to leave for work, we just left at the same time. So we've been up since about 5:30. Definitely earlier than normal!! :P I think I could use a nap too ;)

My 2-month-old!

They say time flies.. It sure does!!!! I can't believe my baby is 2 months old already!! His 2 month check-up is on Thursday, so I'm not sure how much he has grown yet but I will definitely post about it! I'm guessing 14.5 lbs and 26in :P We'll see haha
He rolled over yesterday! I'm still not sure how he managed it!! I laid him down on his belly for his nap, then went outside to let the dog out and get the mail. When I came back inside, Tre was fussing so I went over to the monitor and looked. And he was on his back!! He hasn't done it again so far. I want to actually see him do it! Not just know he did because that wasn't how I left him!! :P
He also didn't want to nap yesterday (maybe he's going through a growth spurt or something?) I would lay him down, he would sleep for a few minutes and then start crying. I thought he would cry himself to sleep, but no. It took almost 3 hours of me laying him down, him waking up crying, me cuddling him, feeding him, changing him, before he finally fell asleep. And I thought he would sleep for quite awhile because he had stayed awake for so long but it was only about 2 1/2 hours. But it was about supper time at that point so I didn't mind that he was up for awhile.
He has been sleeping in his crib for the past 3 nights! The first night only lasted about 4 hours but every night has been getting longer since then! I was surprised at how well we both did with it ;) It's actually a lot easier getting him ready for bed in his own room and then him sleeping in there. Not having to bring blankets and everything down to my room. Of course if he sleeps in my room now, he'll just share my blanket because I moved the bassinet out ;)

The picture of him with the hat: I just found it yesterday, it is for a newborn. I never had put it on him before so tried it on.. Just a little small!!! Haha :)
The pictures of him in his bouncy seat: He was starting to get tired and fussy and his binki fell out so he started sucking on his fingers! Sooo cute when he does that! :) of course, he's pretty cute when he does anything! ;)
The picture of him sleeping was actually right before he rolled over!! I had told Doug he was not wanting to go to sleep so when he finally fell asleep (so I thought) I took a picture and sent it to Doug "ahhh finally"! And then he woke up and rolled over. In some order lol.
Well I will post again in the next couple days. I think we are going to Noridgewalk (where Doug is working) tomorrow and then Tre has his appointment on Thursday. So probably soon after that! :)

Friday!!!!

I know, I haven't posted in awhile! We've had quite the week! Doug is working in Norridgewock which is about 2 hours away, so he has been gone since Monday morning! It has definitely been a long week!! Monday, I had a staff meeting at work, it was good to see all my coworkers!! Then we went over to my mother's for the afternoon/evening. My youngest brother is going away to college so we wanted to see him before he left. He hadn't seen Tre since he was only a couple weeks old!!
I found this app on my phone called Tango. It's a video chat. So I downloaded it on both my and Doug's phones before he left. So he has been able to see Tre every day he's been gone!! It's pretty cool :) and it runs off wifi or your regular satellite signal so it works really good when I don't have good signal at home, it just runs off our wifi :)
Tuesday, my friend Kim came to visit. I put Tre down for his nap around 10, knowing she was coming around 11 and thinking that would be a good nap for him. He was still sleeping when she got here, he slept till almost 2!! I finally got him up so she could see him :) It was good to see her and glad for the company!! :)
Wednesday I felt very productive. I rearranged my living room and was able to clean all around my furniture. And I cleaned out my fridge and freezer. That was quite a job!! Looks much better now tho! :) then I went to town and did a couple errands. Tre wad great the whole time!
Yesterday, I cleaned under my bathroom sink. It had become a junk catcher so I was able to get rid of lots of stuff!! Then cleaned my whole bathroom, shower curtain included!  :)
I have a couple things left I want to do today but mainly just waiting for Doug to get home!! Yay!!!! :)
I also started pumping this week to get some breastmilk saved up before I go back to work (only 2 weeks from Sunday! ; ( ) and I am already panicking about not having enough, I wish I had started sooner! I'm sure it will be fine, I guess I just need something to worry about!

Saturday!!

The beginning of this week was pretty boring.. But towards the end, we finally got a little excitement!! Tre and I stayed home Mon, Tues, and Wed. Thursday we had a couple errands to run and then we met my mom for lunch. I love Pizza Hut!! :) Friday was going to be a stay at home day for us but it started pouring first thing in the morning so Doug got sent home from work and we decided we would all go out. We had a few things we wanted to do but it was hard to do anything with it raining as hard as it was! So we rented a couple movies and came home and stayed in :)
It was beautiful out today! We went all over the place. Doug is looking for a smaller vehicle to take to work, something that would be good on gas. We just looked tho. We are also dreaming about getting a 4-wheeler :P so we looked at them. Tre wad really good all day. Entertaining himself when we were driving. Such a good boy :) ♥
I took a couple pictures over the last few days :) I love that mirror!! So easy to see him without having to turn around! :) every time I wear my hair down he always grabs it and gets his fingers stuck in it! :)

August!?!

I can't believe it's August already!! Tre had his one month check-up last week. Everything was great! He weighed 11lb 12oz and is 23 1/4 in long. 93rd percentile for height and 84th percentile for weight! :) He was so good in the Dr office. He had to get a shot and he cried after that but I picked him up and he quieted right down. I don't blame him tho, I almost cried too..
My 6 week appointment was on Friday. I almost just went by myself and was going to take Tre in his carseat, thinking he would be fine for 'the short time' my appointment would be. But my mom offered to go with me and sit with him while I was in the appointment. Thank God she did. I was in there over an hour, mostly just sitting there waiting on the doctor! Mum said Tre was really good the whole time I was in there. A thunder storm came in while I was in there and she said he jumped at a really loud one!! Everything was fine with me. I am glad, tho, that there aren't cameras in the Dr office because I was sitting there talking to myself, the Dr, Tre, and probably others lol while I was waiting :P
We had a nice relaxing weekend. Ran a few errands on Saturday. Doug had to have his bike worked on so we went and visited his uncle while we were waiting. It was good to see him and glad he got to see Tre. We stayed home Sunday, watched a couple movies, just enjoyed our time together.
Doug, of course, went back to work this morning. And it was this morning that Tre giggled for the first time!!!! I was playing with him, shaking a monkey rattle and kissing him and he giggled!!! It completely made my day!!! I tried all day to get him to do it again but I guess he never found anything funny enough to giggle again. Oh well, it will happen again I know.
Tre took a nap in his crib for the first time today! I normally just put him in the pack'n'play but decided to see how he would do in his crib. He slept for about an hour and a half!! I also put our mobile on the changing table. It won't fit on the crib or the pack'n'play so I tried the changing table and Tre loved it!! He laid there watching it and talking to it for quite awhile!! We need to get one that will fit on the crib because that was very entertaining for him!!
